Video Editing: You will work with non-linear editing system (aka, NLE). You get to work on real project or bring your own project. We'll train you from logging the source media to transferring the content to editing system. Also, we will show you how to manage media, teach the basic theory of graphic, text, animation, editing video & audio and output to different format from video cassette to web streaming to DVD. Other subjects included color correction, IRE, signal reference, vectorscope, waveform, masking, complex composition, story board, 3rd party plug-ins, video and audio tweaking with modern software.
Audio Recording: You will learn how to properly record audio on location, LIVE. How to mic an instrument and persons. Understand the acoustic behavior of building structure and how to correct the mistakes with new tools.
Video Shooting: You will learn how to shoot video with digital equipment. Properly light the subject. How to take advantage of available lighting. Understand gray balance, black balance and white balance. Other subject taught included IRE, zebra, mic, front and back focus, shooting theory, and b-roll shooting.
Photo Shooting: You will learn how to shoot photo using digital equipment. How to solve complex lighting. How to take advantage of available lighting. Understand gray balance, black balance and white balance. Other subject taught included posing the subject. Understand the surrounding and blend the subject into framing and composition.
Web Development: You will learn to design an attractive website. How to get from conceptual to publish your website to the world. Subject cover included javascript, html, ASPx, PHP, dotNET, ODBC, SQL, C#, VB.NET, password protection, and web streaming. You'll also learn when to use what for which application. Remember, you don't want to kill an ant with an elephant gun.
DVD Programming: We teach you how to convert video from any known source on earth to DVD. You will also learn how to incorporate animation, text, and music into DVD menu and structure. Learn how to make chapter jump points. You also learn how to program multiple languages or/and subtitles on one disc. Know the difference between variety of DVD existing formats and what's hold for the future. We teach you how to correctly encode audio into 5.1 Channel Dolby Surround Sound. You also learn what is THX and how to make your project just like big budget Hollywood. If you see any Hollywood DVD that you like and you want to learn how to duplicate the same type of menu structure and how to program your project that way, we show you how to do it. You also learn how to save valuable disc space by adding more data onto a single disc.
Photo Editing: You will learn how to edit photograph. Our goal is to teach you the future of photography -- which is digital photography. We teach you how to correct any flaw in the photograph including lighting if it's too dark or too bright, scratches, old photos, blemish or wrinkle on the skin. You also learn how to apply different visual effect, how to create collage, and finally how to correct color or focus problem.
